When starting from cold in the morning, the vehicle coughs and does not accelerate when the accelerator is pressed. After some time the check engine light came up. Vehicle runs smoothly after engine warms up. Mileage reduced from 29 mpg in city to 25 mpg. The mechanic said the check engine light was for "lean fuel mixture".
