I have been having trouble with starting up my honda accord. I thought it was the battery so i got that replaced but am still having issues. I press the start button and the power turns on but does not start the engine. It does this multiple times. Sometimes it will start the engine but lately, it has turned more into a gamble on when it will actually start the engine.

Car caught fire starting in engine compartment. Was stopped at a stop light, in left turn lane, when smoke was first noticed. I got out of the car and fire progressed in a few minutes to where flames were coming out from under the hood. Local fire company extinguished the fire. Car appears to be a total loss. Safety recall nhtsa 17v-418 was only recently received and had not yet gotten the car to the dealer.

My 2013 honda accord has an automatic starter and the starter has not been working properly. The vehicle has just over 50k miles on it.
