    Tread/Belt

These tires were purchased and installed at an airforce bx in hawaii a couple of years ago and has had limited mileage put on. The entire middle strip of the front left tire came off while on a highway, jammed the wheel and forced the car into a skid while it threw a rod - totalling the engine. We had no choice but to have a used engine installed and a new set of tires = around $3000.( dot number: )
