The srs check light remained on. The owner's manual informed the consumer that the air bag may not deploy in an accident. While at a stop light with air conditioner on and outside air chosen a strong odor of gasoline. Reported to dealer and was told that a carbon filter was not able to do its job because of the hot weather. Dealer reported several other complaints of this same problem. No suggestion of remedy.
