    One month ago i had one tire fail because of a defective dill tire stem. Today (7/25/08) i had two tire stems fail at separate times while on the highway ruining both tires which were only 1 year old and in very good condition. While changing my tires the maintenance man tested the fourth tire and with slight finger pressure the stem broke. *tr

    I purchased this 1997 honda accord from my mom (she was the only owner) it only had 18,000 miles at the time. Currently the auto has a little more than 40,000 and there is noticable tire wear and the brakes make a strange clicking noise when braking.

    Tires have developed cracks in sidewall. Lf tire blew out when large portion of sidewall became detached from inner cords. Tire pressure checked at 34psi shortly before incident. No apparent damage to tire from road debris, etc. Which might explain fai (dot number: m3nx83ax50 tiresize: 185/65r15)
