    I noticed the engine oil consumption problem at around 7k miles, but i did not believe it at first. I checked the oil level once a week. The engine burns close to 3/4 quart of oil every 1,000 miles, but the honda dealership said it's fine. I believe it is excessive for a relatively new car, and honda has a known reputation for excellence in relability and low maintenace. *ak
