The sub frame on the passenger side is extremely rusted out on the top side of the frame making it harder to notice. The drivers side is fine, but under the ac drain on the passenger side, almost rusted through making the car undriveable. Fortunately, i noticed it while replacing the stabilizer link but this has to be a safety concern for honda.

I own a 2001 honda accord lx that i purchased new from a honda dealership in may 2001. The front passenger side sub frame has rusted through. The driver side sub frame has not rusted in that manner. In checking further, the air condition drain hose/outlet drips directly on the front passenger side sub frame and is the source of the rusting condition that only exists on that side. I no longer feel it is safe to drive…
