Rear brakes. There are many complaints on wear of honda brakes. Mine (front and rear) were replaced same day, at 40,200 mi. At 72,700, the rear brakes needed replacement with just 3 % life left or only 32,500 miles. This is nearly half life. The front brakes my repair shop notes has at least 30% more life.

While parking my 2007 honda accord in a residential area, i put it into reverse with my foot on the brake. The car suddenly accelerated on its own, and the brakes failed, causing the vehicle to crash into a parked car with enough force to move it about 3 feet, pushing it up over the curb and onto the sidewalk. A second parked vehicle was also damaged. With my foot still on the brake, i shifted into drive, and the…

In very cold weather the car does not have brakes. The dealership told me that this a defect with this car. Honda is aware of the problem but has not done a recall. I am the second owner of the car. The previous owner was in az, therefore would not have had a problem. I am very fortunate that i did not have an accident. The dealership stated that the brake valve had to be replaced in all the 2007 honda accord…

As driving on the highway around 50mph, i applied brakes and it almost had no stopping power. Later that day i checked it with the dealer and got brake pads and brake rotors changed. Not even after two months the braking power has faded. Please get this issue fixed as it is causing excessive braking problems which can cause an accident and damages. *tr

While braking the steering wheel began to shake. Took to the dealer who insisted a pebble or something must have gotten between so they wont replace pads for free. This problem has continued since and i keep paying their prices which is really affecting my life. *tr

When backing out of our downwardly-sloped home driveway, the vacuum assist for the brakes fades or doesn't work at all. Brakes work fine going forward. This is a potential safety issue if someone were walking on the sidewalk behind the backing up car, because once the vacuum assist fails, it is very difficult to press the brake pedal hard enough to stop the car in reverse. The above-described event occurs often. *tr
